The usher ministry consists of attentive and compassionate members who make sure that everyone is comfortable during the service. They are there to make members and visitors feel at home at Mt. Carmel. There are opportunities to serve as ushers for both adults and our youth.
Mt. Carmel has a team of members who keep a special eye on everything that is happening both inside and outside of the building during services. In most cases, all that is needed to secure the facility and ward off potential threats is the clear visibility of uniformed individuals there to ensure that no unusual activity goes unnoticed.
Mt. Carmel believes every member and visitor to our 10 am services should be greeted with a warm welcome and smiling face so they feel the presence of God from the moment they step through the doo!
In 2021, Mt. Carmel underwent a major renovation to equip the sanctuary with state-of-the-art multimedia sound and video enhancements to provide a better viewing experience for those worshiping both in person and online.
Mt. Carmel provides classes for Children ages 4 through 16 with a formal curriculum that is led by a team of awesome youth church teachers. We always have room for those willing to lead classes for all ages. Youth church also provides snacks for participants after their service ends. We welcome volunteers willing to donate snack items.
The church also has special events throughout the year where members can contribute time and participate. These include Pastor’s anniversary week, Church anniversary celebrations, Easter and Christmas programs, and family fun days.
